I am most interested in helping mid level platinum players and above improve their strategies, timings, and general game play. I am probably better at refining play styles than teaching opening builder orders etc. but don't hesitate to contact me either way! I feel comfortable being able to improve your skill regardless of what race you play, what rank you are, and how much background knowledge you have. : )
My focus is on improving your play and teaching you things to build upon. The lesson will not be to teach you to play like me but to teach you to play at a higher level while preserving your style. The broader level instruction and outside approach is perfect for people who feel they have reached a plateau and aren't improving and winning at a satisfactory rate.
If you are doing package/ repeat lessons then I will also provide you with post lesson materials. These materials include replays you should study, builds to practice, tips, and just general things to focus on while training and improving in-between lessons. I will always do prelesson work if you send me replays simply because I like to invest in my students and generally you won't get enough out of a 60 minute lesson if the person teaching you is starting fresh.
Qualifications
Many of you may have heard of me because I was coaching Destiny (now a member of root). I have a deep knowledge of the game especially with zerg and protoss. Hosting and watching high level events and theory crafting with top players has given me the knowledge and understanding to actually help many of the top players in the game. Scheduling
Just send me an email with your: rank, race, bnet name/ id, skype name, general issue or what you would like help with, how long you're looking to be coached/when you are available. It is also helpful if you send a replay and perhaps have a friend available to practice against. (If you are masters I can find practice partners but my list is full of top 200 level players almost exclusively so it's more difficult finding practice partners in other leagues)
******* The best deal for both your progress, my ability to teach, and price is do set up 3 x 2 hour lessons. Two hour lessons 2 weeks apart will give me time to really find, explain, and fix gaps and allow you to digest and practice what you are learning (making the next lesson more efficient). If you plan on ordering 6 or more lessons (in 2 hours chunks or spread out) there will be a $20 discount. ****
I am free most days except Friday nights during the Top 200 KOTH. My best times are 12:00-5:00 pm PST and anytime Saturday and Sunday.
Standard Rate: $40/hr
Package Rate: $200/6hr
